For reference, the real numbers here (Obama v. Mcain):

Obama 52
McCain 38

(And, even more interestingly, Coleman is up 7 over Franken).

I added the poll to the Obama vs McCain, but it seems like it don't make a link.

Is that why MN is not appearing as Leans Obama on the poll map, because it should be.

If you create the Clinton vs. McCain poll, just enter the Obama vs. McCain numbers in the space below the line where you write in the title of the post ... Wink

As for the poll, it seems a bit off in favor of Obama. I think he's ahead by 4-8%.

If we assume the McCain/Obama margin is something more like 5% rather than 12%, Coleman has a double digit lead

Things don't exactly work that way in the real world.

And if we assume - with marginally more though still not very much reason - that Coleman vs Franken is a statistical tie, Obama's lead is somewhere between 16 and 22 points, so what's your point exactly?

Interestingly, Obama jumped ahead of McCain in today's national numbers from Ras. This has to be the first he's been ahead in those in months.

No. He was ahead around the beginning of the month.

I don't think it was added correctly.  The map and the 3-poll average are wrong.
