I'm mine.

Philip Innamorato (Philadelphia - 65th ward - 10th division)

Oh, and some other guy who is only nominally a committeeperson.

Did you just make this topic to brag? Wink

...

I figured it would be obvious why I started this topic - It's loosely connected to the "Who was ____ when you/your parents/your pet llama was _____?" threads.

Being a committeeperson isn't exactly something you post threads to brag about. Tongue  I remember posting a thread about it two years ago when I was running because we are actually elected officials but other than that, I'd have no reason to discuss it.

Some random person who I've never met. They actually had yard signs up for the election. Yard signs. For a PCO election.

Congrats, maybe this is the start to a long political career. Who knows, maybe Casey will be a long serving senator and you can be the one to beat him in like 20 years, LOL.

Innamorato vs. Casey, 2024

It's funny just thinking about it.

Yeah, it's hilarious to think that Casey would actually stay in DC for more than one or two terms.

If that was the case and I won and we had a Republican Governor, I'd refuse to take the seat and have Santorum appointed.  Wink

I know the Conservative sacrificial lamb for my constituency in the next election. Does that count?

If the race is in 2024, I doubt that Santorum would be dead at the age of 66. Plus, I've always said that he'd be one of the people I'd want to outlive me...and I'm planning on going at 102.  Wink  Yeah, that means he'd be living until he's 132, I know.  Tongue

No idea even who the equivalent is; there's no Tory organisation to speak of in Bangor these days. I don't think they've even run any candidates in local elections of any sort here for at least twenty years.

I don't know.  I've honestly been thinking about standing outside my polling place for a hour or so handing out cards for myself in a week.  I could probably win.

Not sure, but it really doesn't matter considering how irrelevant the Republicans are here.

And, again, I don't understand what's incoherent about it. Maybe one of you two - both Muslims - can explain it to me.

He's talking about how Shiites believe that the 12th Imam is the Messiah and will return when Shiites dominate the world (not true; all Islamic groups believe in Jesus as the Messiah). Then, he talks about the Ottoman conquests, and makes a hollow reference to September 11. THe problem is that the Ottomans were not Shiites, but Sunnis.
