This would mostly spit Democrats. I don't see many Republicans voting for Obama simply because Bloomberg is on the ticket. McCain would get more than 274EVs.

John McCain/Charlie Crist (R): 489 EV, 50% of the PV
Barack Obama/Michael Bloomberg (I): 27 EV, 25% of the PV
Hillary Clinton/Ted Strickland (D): 22 EV, 23% of the PV
Others (Socialists, Greens): 0 EV, 2% of the PV

With Obama running as an Independent, the 2008 Election results in a McCain landslide. Obama manages to win Illinois, Vermont and D.C. Hillary wins Massachusetts, Arkansas and Rhode Island whilst McCain wins the rest. After this Election the Democratic Party implodes.
