Fascist, but he's not really either of those things. He's a tyrant to be sure, but he doesn't really fit either of those molds. Whatever ideology you might say he holds, he's certainly managed to run his country into the ground.

He's neither. But looking at the structure of Zimbabwe's economy (state-adminsitered, anarchic free-fall into utter and complete misery) it seems more like communism than fascism to me. But he's really just an incompetent, deluded autocrat.

Incompetent, evil, authoritarian racist bungler.  Can't determine a comprehensive ideology...on fiscal policy he's a loose money man to the extreme limits of the term (whatever you want to say about Ben Bernanke, we will not have 100,000% inflation on his watch), which isn't very fascist or communist.
