How utterly pathetic. It's partly that kind of attitude that has caused lots of leading Democrats to turn on them.

I found this sentence in the Richardson article particularly interesting.

Are you serious?  Do the Clintons really have so much influence in the Democratic Party that they can go around saying, "Whoa there!  Slow down on that Obama endorsement.  Wait until you've gotten a chance to see us attack him again."

Is it just me, or is this country's political process starting to border on the realm of self-parody?

I guess I shouldn't be surprised then.

Carville is a total piece of garbage. However, that quote did make me chuckle.

I love how Bill Richardson has, twice in the past 24 hours, said one thing then contradicted himself in the exact next sentence. Here he says:

Find me one quote by James Carville or Senator Clinton or anyone else associated with the campaign where they say that Hillary is "entitled" to the Presidency. I have never heard any such quotes. Hillary has worked hard the for the nomination. Mr. Richardson says he won't respond in one breath then in the next breath launches a false, negative character attack on "people around Senator Clinton." That is insulting and hypocritical.

Tonight,  he said in one breath that superdelegates should vote the way of the people they represent and then in the next moment admitted than Clinton had won New Mexico but said he was voting for Obama anyway. If a Clinton surrogate had been that contradictory there is no way the press would have allowed them to get away with it.

So if Richardson is Judas does that mean the Clintons think they are Jesus?

That was Carville's comment, not theirs.

Then does Carville think they're Jesus?

By the way, if Richardson is a Judas for endorsing someone other than Hillary Clinton, what did that make him for, you know, running against her for the nomination?

I just love how the Clintons campaign on their readiness to lead and Hillary's ability to be head of government, but every time a titled supporter- not just some volunteer, but someone who's been vetted and given a role in the campaign- says something controversial- the Clinton spin machine acts like they have no control over the people around them. Which is it? You can't claim to be ready to lead the bureaucracy if you have no control over the people who speak for you in a campaign. Is she naive and pretending to be savvy or savvy and pretending to be naive?
