Charles Grassley and Tommy Thompson  gets nominated, but Minnesota happens to be under a liberal governor or something. As for Lousiana, some moderate populist is on the VP ticket, which is why West Virginia is Democrat. Actually, Jed what's his name is would be the candidate here, with Breux as his VP.
