I write "propose" because this still has to be approved by the DNC, the Justice Department, and, oh yeah, probably requires a change in Florida election law:

May 27 would be a good date as well.

May 27th is the day after Memorial Day.  Not good to be planning on receiving a lot of things in the mail after a long weekend.

Yeah, I wonder if they'll just do it even though it's illegal. It'd be kinda fun if a presidential nominee was chosen illegally, especially if he/she won.
