Well, this is too bad.

I was planning to explain by action to The Mikado why it is not a good idea to make people paranoid about you - this turn I was going to wipe him out in a move that would have been near sucidal and very unclever by me. Now I won't have too though.

Ok then, as usual I am in the difficult position of having to try to keep anyone from becoming huge, because no one else seems to want to offend anyone, except in the west, where I am not.... so then...

One Batt. in NY, the other 14 in MD, attack do or die in VA, TN, MO, NE, leave 'em in Nebraska and move that spare guy from Mass. to NY and end turn.

This I do because Verily never seemed too keen to reach out and touch Josh at all, while Josh plundered cards from Mikado, and will be getting another bonus all too soon, which will probably crush me.

For the record, I ignored Josh last turn because he outnumbered me on our border while he left his border with you undefended--but the reverse was true this time.

I'd like to turn in the following set:

That should give me an additional 10 for a total of 16. But I must think a little before issuing my orders, given how, eh, interesting my situation is. Tongue

Ok, I'd like 6 in California and 10 in Oregon. Then attack Oregon-->Nevada, as long as I have 3 attacking and await further orders.

Question for future reference: Do we have to trade in once we have five cards? And if we come into possession of more than five at the end of a turn due to conquering another player, do we have to trade in on the spot?

#1: Correct.

#2: Not on the spot, no.  You just keep them until the start of your next turn and then have to trade in as many sets as necessary until you have less than five cards.

I hope Verily has a set ready if he intends to recreate the Confederacy with sufficient forces to defend what he has won....  Tongue
