I am posting, but it comes to a lengither post and then when I try to post, it has come up that I have quoted twice. I am not really sure what is going wrong.

I take it that you're only clicking once on the  button, not double-clicking?

On my older computer, when I quote a post using Quick Reply, it takes a while for the quote to show up. I have on occasion accidentally quoted the post twice under the mistaken belief that I hadn't clicked it the first time, but I've always detected my error.
