Gov. Sebelius is apparently speaking to a women for Obama town hall meeting on Monday.  Do governors often travel that far out of state for these types of things?  Do you think this indicates she has been promised a cabinet post if not the VP slot?

Sebelius, McCaskill, Kennedy, and Daschle have been some of Obama's biggest surrogates. Does that mean that they will be in his cabinet, no.

I wasn't aware that any of them had made cross-country trips for things like this though.  That was kind of what my question was.  Is this an atypical sort of thing to do or have other big Obama supporters traveled 700+ miles to attend events for him?

Just speaking from my own state, Governor Corzine has many numerous trips out of state on Senator Clinton's behalf. As has Mayor Booker for Obama, as well as others.
