The two people I was most disappointed in supporting Hillary (Clark and McGovern) have now come over. Smiley

I now hope McGovern is South Dakota's add-on.

Clark switched?  I didn't see that.

He didn't. It was reported that he called Clinton last night to tell her to concede, but he hasn't said anything publicly.

He hasn't announced it officially, but Rep. Brad Miller of North Carolina sure as heck sounds like he's endorsing Obama

According to Wikipedia, Clinton's superdelegate lead is down to 12.5.  CNN has her leading by only 10.

Then it's likely 10. Wiki is probable slow.

I predict that Obama will have the lead in supers by the end of the week. (or before)

The New York Times is incorrectly reporting today that Washington state DNC Sharon Mast has endorsed Clinton.  She has not.

Question:

With Don Cazayoux now sworn in and a Travis Childers win on Tuesday, how many superdelegates do we have ?

798 ?

Rep. Brad Miller (D-NC) will endorse Obama rather than just sound like it:

795+Childers, according to DemConWatch (which includes Cazayoux). That's not counting Rep. Al Wynn (D-MD), who endorsed Obama but will resign soon, or Donna Edwards, who has also endorsed Obama and is pretty much guaranteed victory in the special election to replace Wynn on 14 17 June.

Sorry for all of the DailyKos links, but I've found them to be the best aggregators of Obama endorsements. Anyway, Rep. Rick Larsen (D-WA) for Obama:

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/5/8/17401/95040/520/512058

Clinton's SD margin is single digits (9.5) for the first time.

Politico has Clinton's lead at only 8.5, and that's without two or three Obama endorsements from today...

Among congressional endorsees, The Hill is reporting that Clinton and Obama are tied at 99 each; while Roll Call reports 99 for Clinton and 97 for Obama

They may not, quite, be up to date

DemConWatch has 99-92 Obama within Congress (18-13 among fellow Senators and 81-79 among Reps).

Rep. Donald Payne (D-10th Dist.), a New Jersey superdelegate who had been supporting Hillary Clinton for president, has switched his allegiance to Barack Obama.

Typical "with the wind" politician, Payne. But not surprising. (He's also black, btw.)

I'm very proud of my congressman for bucking the state establishment from the beginning and endorsing Obama. (Here in NJ, it was the difference between the reformers and the machine, although that's certainly not true everywhere.)
