Not really surprising. Of course, those who support the decision are also very unlikely to bother calling in. (And, clearly, the "racially insensitive" callers are likely to hurt their own cause.)

Joe Andrew, who was Democratic National Committee chairman from 1999-2001, planned a news conference Thursday in his hometown of Indianapolis to urge other Hoosiers to support Obama in Tuesday's primary, perhaps the most important contest left in the White House race. He also has written a lengthy letter explaining his decision that he plans to send to other superdelegates.

He also used to be for Clinton, so it's a net +2 for Obama.

I guess that was the rumored significant endorsement. I suppose it is fairly significant if he flipped, particularly if he might hold sway over a fair number of DNC members.

Joe Andrews may have convinced at least one person. DNC John Patrick (TX) endorses Obama.

John Olsen of Connecticut endorsed Clinton earlier today. I guess he's a DNC member (?)

SD endorsement margin is now down to 16. I would say that any miniscule chance Clinton has at the nomination rests on not falling behind among SDs, which she'd been doing for a while but now seems to be in decline again (down from mid-20s less than a week ago).

Yes, DNC member and an AFL-CIO echo from Bill George's endorsement.

Does this have any significance whatsoever?

Eh, only if you couldn't predict that Obama would get all three Illinois add-ons.

We kind of have an interesting situation in Guam. The Democratic chair and vice-chair positions (both superdelegates) are vacant. There's three candidates running for each seat. In each case, one supports Obama, one supports Hillary and the third is uncommitted. They'll be chosen Saturday (which is mostly Friday on the mainland.)

Jimmy Carter has all but endorsed Obama. He stopped short of an actual endorsement but basically said he'd support whoever won more pledged delegates: aka Obama. So who he'll be voting for has become fairly obvious.

That'd be a yes.

I unfortunately cannot find a picture online of him giving the results, if anyone has one please post it.

Today is more notable for an endorsement that isn't being made than for any that are.  Smiley

If you're talking about a certain former Senator whose daddy worked in a mill, I think it'd be too late for that endorsement to swing anything.  I mean, the primary's tomorrow.
