Yesterday

Virginia   21 (63.6%)
Hawaii   12 (36.4%)

Total Voters: 33

Hawaii started out somewhat close but Virginia just was too much. Very good for Virginia. Good votals too. This sets up Washington/Virginia. A battle of titans.

Florida vs Alaska. Once again, the seedings may be deceiving. Florida wasn't too impressive last round. Alaska was. Should be good.

Alaska is beautiful and the people there are really interesting to just talk to. It is definately one of my favorite states.

Florida = Flat marsh that is sinking into the sea and manages to crush my hopes and dreams every 4 years.

I've actually lived in Florida so I'm going to vote Alaska.  Florida sucks for so many reasons.

Alaska.

I know if I go to Alaska they'd give me $1000 bucks thanks to the Oil Tycoons up there. They wouldn't in Florida. What would they give me?

Hurricanes, old people, and crime. Why wouldn't you want to live in Florida?

Alaska.

Voted for Alaska...

This is a state I'd like to visit, not live in, mind you.  And in the summer, of course.

Florida is not someplace I'd want to visit ever again.

However, if it was a choice of where to live, Florida's climate makes it slightly more worthwhile.

Ordinarily, I'd say Alaska. But I'm getting sick of them for 2 reasons:

1. Their refusal to publish county election results so we can see them on a map. Not this retarded "election district" thing they always pull. You want to be treated like one of the 50 states, form some counties!

2. Ted Stevens, a man who doesn't deserve to be in the US Senate. And Don Young, the 2 of them are responsible for more wasted federal money than the entire Democratic Party combined (that may be a bit of an exageration, but you get my point). Lisa Murkowski was very unpopular in 2004 after the way she was appointed to office by her father, yet they still re-elected her. Why? because they want to keep those Federal Tax Dollars rolling in. Florida is at least more bi-partisan.

Alaska does have better scenery than most of Florida. And its wildlife should be strongly protected from its gun and oil-drill loving citizens.
