Amusing article in that it was written exactly a year ago, when I believe Giuliani was all the rage and McCain's campaign couldn't get off the ground.  How do you like it?

In retrospect, the funniest thing about this scenario seems to be that the only reason why McCain won was because of the terrorist attack in St. Louis.  This article isn't as slavishly sycophantic as the President-Jeb-Bush alternate history editorial, but it's still pretty idolizing.  The author, who apparently paints Hillary as magnimonious enough to bow down to allow for Democratic unity, doesn't even say why Edwards/Obama is defeated.
