Reports of 9-to-1 murder in downtown Olympia

Clinton failing to receive any delegates in Carnation, a small left-leaning town outside of metro Seattle

UW dorms giving Obama votes at 8-to-1 margin

Unless Clinton is doing very well in rural areas...this is way beyond what I'd have ever expected.  My prediction blew.

Where are you getting all of this stuff?

My caucus (which was really packed in a moderate area) was in the Cougar Mountain area (South Bellevue/Issaquah) with people from some very high incomes on the hill or living on Lake Sammamish. My precinct was a mix of ultra-wealthy and elderly Obama supporters along with some middle-income Obama supporters. In other precincts (again very wealthy) it appeared to be Obama landslides throughout. My area has very few youth; mostly elderly/soccer moms, and Obama was winning overwhelmingly.

You are doing a great job. I had to gin up a neighborhood map of Seattle though, to find some of the names. Smiley

- KS strongly for Huckabee
- WA looking like an Obama landslide
- Limited out of LA, but Obama looks somewhat favored

Sorry 'bout that.  I was going to put one up, but some of these are one-precinct reports and - truthfully - there's not much of a correlation.

I'll say this:

- Obama getting massive landslides in college areas
- Obama getting massive landslides in black areas
- The middle-aged rich and elderly "Dems for life" women appear to be Clinton's best group (N. Capitol Hill, Madison Park) but probably even they are voting Obama

As for results like Lake Hills in Bellevue being 3-to-1 Obama, and some of these rural reports...

Chalk it up to caucus craziness.

Some post from a Seattle Times poster said it was 2-1 Obama in Yakima per the buzz.

One Caucus site from Vancouver (across the river from Portland), 3-1 Obama.

Nebraska has seen record turnout to the point that some caucus locations have declared emergencies. Smiley

2-to-1 Obama in Yakima?  Good god.  The city?  The entire city?  Not the majority Latino part?

Obama apparently 3-to-1'ed a part of Edmonds where nearly half the Democrat voters are Asians.

could be even better, though most likely would be around that area.
Many of my friends are now delegates! I just wish I had been able to attend, apparently my caucus location went from about 85 people in 2004 to aroudn 180 this year.

Here is the copy and paste:

In Yakima, it's Obama:

Turnout was huge. In 2004, we had 24 precincts meeting at our location location. Today we had six and the the room was packed. Many more people than in 2004.

Clinton had no organization and only one sign. It was home-made. Obama stuff was everywhere, and they were organized down to the precinct level.

Results for my precinct: 41 for Obama, 19 for Clinton. The other precincts had similar numbers.

Where are you? My caucus had like 300 people at least (how many people can you fit in an elementary school multi-purpose room shoulder to shoulder?) I wish I could vote... a lot of my friends came even though they are all underage.

Matt Fisher says from Bellingham:

Precint 208 in Bellingham: had about 128 people present. 13 delegates for Obama, 3 for Clinton.

How long before we get any proper numbers? I don't trust anecdotal reports, even if they're plausible (as these are).
