Yesterday's Results

Connecticut   8 (32%)
Massachusetts   10 (40%)
Rhode Island   7 (28%)

Total Voters: 25

Connecticut had momentum on it's side for voting for Obama last Super Tuesday. It wasn't quite enough to beat out Mass. but it send Rhode Island to the wildcard.

Alright, now listen up. This is the wildcard round. 26 states are in Round 2 now. However, I need 32 because that's a good tournament number. The 13 states have gotten third place this Round 1 will have one final chance to get back in the game. There are 13 states, the top 6 advance. You may vote for up to 4 states. I admit a few states did get tougher competition this round (Ohio, Oregon, Michigan). However, many states here are fodder. There is no excuse this time. If these states can't advance past this round, quite frankly they don't deserve to. Sorry. So vote for up to 4 but if you have a favorite state here, you may want to consider voting strategically here. The 7 states that don't win here are eliminated

Also, I have sort of a side poll here. For the seeding, I've narrowed it down to two ways - alphabetical or by population. I don't want to seed based on performance because that is too subjective. What do you guys think? (I'm leaning towards seeding by population)

Population makes more sense than alphabetical.

Hawaii, Oregon, Rhode Island, New Hampshire.

Out of these states, I've only been to Oregon and Maryland. I added Hawaii and Rhode Island to that, because they're the two best states remaining.

Do it by performance. It's the least subjective way. Of course a few states are going to get screwed, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Right now, my states are the top four, followed by New Hampshire, and a many-way tie for sixth.

Well, it I were to do it by population, these states would get a 1 seed

California
Texas
Florida
New York

while these get the 8 seed

Wyoming
Vermont
Alaska
South Dakota

Doesn't seem too bad..

Alphabetically I'm not really doing seeding then.

By performance (No extrapolating)

Illinois
Washington
New York
Missouri

That's actually not too bad (Except Missouri)

It gets harder from there though. At least with Population I would have a set pattern to follow and nobody could accuse me of rigging the bracket.
