I would have expected McCain's lead to have been bigger than this somehow.  It matters less in a winner-takes-all GOP Primary though, I suppose.

There's been a lot of rebellious anti-McCain folks making noise in the Arizona GOP in the past year or so - he's not overwhelmingly popular amongst them.

He'll still end up winning it though, and AZ is WTA, so there's not much point in Romney making an effort there.

There's been a lot of rebellious anti-McCain folks making noise in the Arizona GOP in the past year or so - he's not overwhelmingly popular amongst them.

There's also a big Mormon vote in Arizona, as large as in Nevada. If they go 95% for Romney again, he'll do very well.

If I was Romney (and with his fortune), I would spend a lot of money in Arizona. If he can beat Mc Cain in his home state, Mc Cain will be in serious trouble.

Rocky Mountain is a complete crap poll, IIRC. But one would expect McCain to not be all that strong in Arizona despite it being a home state.
