I'll be pleased if Obama can secure what appears to be a significant margin. It gives him a boost for Super Tuesday. I don't know about you, but that day is going to be almost as exciting as November will be Smiley

This is a campaign, and it's going to be one until Super Monster Supreme Tuesday.

Edwards is out of it, except as the king maker.

Now, how will th Democratic Party react to a brokered convention?

I love how big a spin everyone has on this. The Democratic Primary has become a white vs black race. I saw the exit poll results on MSNBC, and only 16% of 60+ white voters went for Obama.

A 20%+ victory is on the way...too bad about Edwards getting a distant third place, but perhaps it won't bring bad luck like his second place did. Tongue

Gore would only take it if he were convinced it was the only way to stop Hillary.  but we're talking about a 1-in-100 scenario right now.  at least with the Republicans it's 1-in-5.

In case you forgot, there are about  9 categories other than the 60+ white voters.

I now wonder if Edwards will drop out and endorse someone. I'm leaning towards Obama if he does, but he was pretty tough on him the other night. My guess is he stays in this and hopes for a tough, close race all the way to the convention. I can't imagine his delegates alone making a difference though, but if it is really close, who knows.

He has never been popular among older voters in general.

As far as I'm concerned, yall, keep up with the spin.  Highly entertaining.

For Republicans, this is about the best result they could have hoped for.

No, he's in to the convention, or so he says.

So... the old racist whites voted against the Negro. Big surprise.

Obama won among young whites, who no longer decide things by race, as the Clinton campaign would have us.

It will be interesting to see whether some younger generation Democrats in the House and elsewhere will come out for Obama soon now that he has become the candidate of young people.
