Green.  Or maybe the Independence Party.

Hmm.

There really isn't a 3rd party that exactly matches my beliefs... and as far as I know there is no 'Liberal with Morals Party' Tongue

Green, I guess, although I'm no pacifist. I'm more socially liberal than anything else.

The Constitution Party, I even briefly joined it but I broke with them over the death penalty.

I am usually very picky when it comes to joining a party. If there was a third party which had positions on 100 issues and I agreed with them on 99 I might not join it.

Still, the Constitution Party is probably the closest major third party to my views.

The Libertarian Party comes closest for me, the Constutution is probably the farthest with the Green party being somewhere in between. (I like the ends of the Green party but hate the means they advocate to achieve them.)

Everything else, I consider to be a fourth party as they aren't even on enough ballots to have a mathematical change of winning the presidency.

I'm not sure... I'm not too much into the religiousness of government, but I like the Constitution Party a lot. Probably the American Independent Party.

1) Constitution Party   64%
2) Republican Party     59%
3) Libertarian Party    55%
4) Natural Law Party    45%
5) Democratic Party     41%
6) Reform Party         41%
7) Green Party          32%

So I guess.. Constitution then the Libertarian party then natural law...

That site is somewhat out of date as the Reform and Natural Law parties have imploded (altho the Reform party might be able to emulate the phoenix)  Also, its questions don't measure the intensity of feeling on a particular issue.  It lists the Constitution party as being more compatable for me than the Republican party whic is absolutely not the case.  It did correctly view that of the third parties, the Libertarian party is most compatible.

This quiz is SO tilted towards the Libertarians, it ain't funny.

1) Libertarian Party    85%
2) Republican Party     62%
3) Constitution Party   62%
4) Green Party          31%
5) Reform Party         31%
6) Democratic Party      8%
7) Natural Law Party     8%

There is so much about the Libertarians I disagree with, 85% is a really high number.  If the LP moderated some of their radical views, I would be a lot closer to them.

6) Democratic Party     29%
7) Green Party          18%

There are no third parties I like much.  Libertarian and Constitution are okay.

I liked some historical parties, though, like Federalist and Whig.

Didn't know they've been around that long. Wasn't 1996 the first time they fielded a candidate?
