http://www.electionguide04.com/straw_poll.adp

Kerry is leading in North Dakota and Alaska

Bush is leading in Rhode Island, Hawaii, and Illinois

Isn't the typical AOLuser not too bright and has too much money to spend on a broken ISP.  What else would you expect from a sample like that? Wink

That poll is useful for a quick laugh over the idea of Bush winning Rhode Island and not much else.

It also has built in bias towards Bush.  At present NM has 38 votes each for Bush and Kerry and the state has been awarded to Bush, probably because Bush comes first akphabetically.

From what I can see, NM is going Kerry.  Anyway, this suprises me, because the average net poll is usually heavily Liberal (unless it is the the National Review website or something).

I gave it till this morning before going back and look at the map.  I find it interesting how close the states are that Kerry is leading in, such as New York.  It shows Kerry leading by only 20 votes.  Illinois is also by 20.  California, on the other hand, is more realistic with him leading by 99.

This doesn't surprise me, as AOL is made for total morons.

WOW . . . the map changed a lot since this afternoon.  It's now showing Bush with 435 EVs.  hahaha

Looks like Oregon (or Washington) switched to Bush, same with New Mexico, North Dakota, and one of the Great Lake states.  Rhode Island flipped to Kerry.

I have AOL and am not a moron, and I think anyone who would vote for some hack 3rd party candidate in this meaningful election is a moron.

I didn't say you were a moron, I said AOL was made for morons. Not a personal attack.

And what makes you think Bush or Kerry deserve to be president more than Badnarik? I think both Bush and Kerry are full of crap, Bush is too secretive and Kerry doesn't stand up for anything.

Ok fine, but you implied it, because I use AOL.  No bad blood needed

Bush and Kerry dont necessarily deserve to be President more, but Badnarik is not going to win, and this year, I wouldnt vote for him.  Of course, Dems voting for Nader is OK.

haha...right now, is Bush 490 Kerry 48.

Kerry's only winning NY, VT, CT, DC, and RI.
Pretty funny.  Its weird that Bush is actually doing well in an internet poll.

It resets each Month, not week, according to it's text.  Anyway, it now reflects Bush winning nationwide by 58%, and looks like New York is going to be the next state to flip to Bush.  hahaha . . . only a miracle could do that.  Smiley  I am surprised though that 30,000 AOL members have voted this month so far on the poll.  Maybe we should check back on this one next week?
