Can Republicans vote in the NH Democratic primary?

No, only Dems and unenrolled voters.

So it's semi-closed rather than open?

lol, that was amusing.

Clinton speaks sense, Edwards tells people that he'll somehow be able to assault lobbyists, PACs, and interest groups... with the power of his hair, or something.

rofl, Teddy Roosevelt?  He needs a history lesson.  Teddy Roosevelt regulated trusts, but thought they should exist.  Taft busted the trusts.

Edwards rhetoric is ridiculous.

We've been thinking that this is a change vs. experience race (change being Obama, experience being Clinton)... but I'm starting to think that the question of whether we want change is over. In which case it would become Obama vs. Edwards.

What an interesting night.

Edwards looks good. Hillary is making the most sense out of all of them, but its a shame that Obama's empty hope message is the one resonating right now.

Well, given that that's basically his version of Giuliani's 9/11...

BTW, for the next debate, we need to have political buzzwords bingo. Include stuff like 9/11, Reagan, etc. for the Republicans and "change", agents of change, come together, etc. for Democrats.

I don't know whether anyone's caught onto this tonight, but the Clinton message actually sounds like what George Bush did against McCain in SC in 2000.

After McCain won on a message of reform in NH, Bush's change in message was to be the "reformer with results" in SC.

The advantage to Bush was that he had 2 1/2 weeks in-between NH and SC to give this message.

I have to agree that Edwards is doing the best tonight. Clinton seems to be shooting herself in the foot.

Edwards rhetoric is ridiculous.

The worst thing is that it'll probably be the most popular.

Good God, he's doing it again.  Why?  Whyyyyyy?

I'd rather have blindly sunny, impractical optimism (Obama) than what Edwards proposes.

Not to sound bias here, but I really do think Edwards is doing better than Obama tonight.

Completely non-hackish.

Arguably true, but meaningless. Whats important is that they are both doing better than Clinton.

I support Obama and agree.  Obama's definitely in second, but Edwards is doing really good.

Clinton really needs to learn how to answer without sounding pissed off.

Edwards may do well enough in NH to be in the game a bit longer, which is good. I'd like to see a race Smiley of it. 2004 was decided all too quickly
