Romney and Huckabee were the only ones who answered the not-Obama question well, in my opinion. This insistence on 100% conservatism by the Republican primary base is just hurting their chances in November.

Thompson was doing good up until now, but not here. He sounds cold, he needs to at least pretend to feel people's pain.

Thompson could at least pretend that he gives a sh**t.

Really.  It's like he's here just to make snipes when he has them, and then roll back over and go to sleep.

What did Paul say that made everyone laugh? My feed cut out Sad

He made a joke about how he and Barack Obama were the younger candidates of the group.

Really.  It's like he's here just to make snipes when he has one, and then roll back over to sleep.

That basically sums it up. He attacks people but has no positons of his own.

I actually like Huckabee a lot.

If only his social views weren't so bad.

Also, every single time Romney opens his mouth I like him less and less.  God.

Looks like its over. The Democratic debate will likely be tame by comparision. but I hope Hillary goes into all out attack mode.

Aww, that was touching. I'm sure that all hell will break loose during the commercial break, though.

McCain/Huckabee!

And I officially endorse Obama if Romney is our candidate.

Egh, awkward now.

And yeah, McCain's line about big pharma and Romney's response illustrates perfectly why we don't need a corporate leader as President.

That was a wonderful moment indeed. On another note, Romney refused to hug Hillary. However, Romney was joshing with Obama...

Haha, that was quite a nice touch!

I wonder what Paul said to Richardson, seemed to be funny.

That was nice at the end when the Dems and Republicans shook hands Smiley. The debate format was actually good and exciting, or maybe it just feels that way because the Iowa debate really sucked.

Excellent debate - I liked the format.  Best so far this year, primarily because candidates were forced to become more specific and clarify their arguments.

I hope that the Democratic debate is as good, if not better.  This is actually an excellent way of doing things and the smaller candidate pool really helped.

McCain's assertions were specious and Romney's response lacked compassion or grace.

Yes - the debate format, seated and all, is great. It's 1.45 in the morning here but I'm sitting down to watch this.
