This is the first debate where I think Thompson's actually felt comfortable.

Not sure if Mccain's little jab their at Romney was a good move though. Let him be the one attacking you, John.

Well, that's what they've been doing so far tonight. I think Huckabee's the only one who has not attacked him.

Which is odd cause Paul and Huckabee are the most diametrically opposed ideologies of the six onstage.

I realize Huckabee's playing nice guy and Paul pretty much is. I remember their debate last year where they each debated back and forth, they each critiqued the other very respectably which was nice.

How's Paul doing when he talks? Is he defending himself well? Sounds like Romney's doing bad, is he doing better than him?

This is going to go down as a very bad night for Romney.

"The continued personal barbs are interesting but unnecessary."

Amen, Senator McCain.

Ouch, Romney just singled out Biden, and other people who didn't matter as much because they weren't Biden.  He wounds me so! Sad

It's amusing that Romney is asking that the other candidates to stop attacking him but yet he was the first one to air negative ads against the other candidates.

God Bless Mitt Romney. We'll be using that jab in TV ads this fall.

We've had like four answers so far and I still haven't heard one single decent reason why not to vote for Obama.  They're giving good reasons why Republicans shouldn't vote for Obama, but somehow I don't think they were going to do so anyway.

Well Romney's whole anti-Obama argument was entirely not geared to the Republican party. I understand he's going for the independents, but that's leaning waaaaay too far. This proves again how, less than Rudy, Huck, or anyone else can Romney connect with the base. No one else is that fake or has such impressive and well-deserved negatives.

I just wish one of them would punch Romney in the teeth. That would make this great night complete.

Romney's right: McCain's argument failed in Iowa and it will fail in the GE.

Thank you Romney!

That's because there isn't one.

Huckabee hit that one out of the park (although he's apparently misinformed on Obama's same-sex marriage position).

Paul's not talking too much, and since the national security part he’s pretty much being ignored by the others. But he is doing a good job getting his point acrossed  in a mature fashion, IMHO.

Paul just made a joke, which was a tiny bit ackward. But he and Huckabee are praiseing Obama, and that's good, I hate this partisanship.

Um, did Paul just say he's going to get rid of the income tax?

Good luck with that, Paul.

Paul mispronounces "Barack" as badly as my father mispronounces "Obama."

Paul basically wants to be Obama's VP.

"He spoke out against war and respects civil liberties like me."

Hmm.. I bet David Duke is going to be pretty pissed about that.

Go Ron!

Hint:  They're not going after your vote.  It would be like Obama going after the Mike Naso crowd.  Why waste money and time?
