Don't think there should be any link, no direct link anyway, between the strength of the parties in elections and the number of members each party has. Of all the big blows fantasyland took, attempts by certain people to rig elections by getting friends to register to vote there (or just making people up) was one of the heaviest. One it's never really recovered from.
