Here are the results by Congressional District. Kerry won all 15 districts, but in the 14th District, which is majority black and includes much of Detroit, he only beat Sharpton by about 5%. The 13th District, where Sharpton also did well, is also a majority black district that includes part of Detroit. The only other district besides these 2 in which Kerry got less than 50% was the 15th, which includes Ann Arbor and thus is probably why it was Dean's best district.

Sharpton is a man who only the media thinks represents black people. He is a pathetic spokesman for black america.

Isn't it amazing how all of the seven candidates have finished in the top three in at least one state.

Yeah, 5 different candidates have finished at least in 2nd place (Lieberman was 2nd in Delaware), and 7 have finished at least 3rd (Sharpton was 3rd in South Carolina).

It speaks to the depth of quality in this years' candidates I think.

If only McAuliffe hadn't loaded the primaries so that there would be as little contention as possible.
