One of the youngest MPs. She unexpectedly came through from third place to gain the seat from Labour and make Cornwall into Britain's only county with an entirely LibDem parliamentary delegation. Interestingly this is the second time that the third placed party has come through the middle to win this seat - Labour won it in 1997, defeating Seb Coe.

Hardly. All the smart money was on LD pickup here - indeed the Tory vote held up better than many expected (which is good for Cornwall Tories.)
