Thoguh the shooting was high profile at the time, I don't think recent developments in this have gotten a great deal of international coverage.

Not sure what good it would do. There are plenty of other people in the police who should resign or be denied promotion and so on, though.

This has, of course, become a political issue (with a Right-dominated GLA calling for his resignation and Livingstone wanting him to stay on) which is unfortunate.
