Is she still Shadow Secretary of State for Wales? If so, why? I can understand not wanting to give the post to the dangerous idiot that holds Monmouth, but why not give it to either the member for Preseli Pembroke or Clwyd West?

Yes, she is. The answer to your second question is that the Tory leadership clearly doesn't care about Welsh interests. Wink

Allegedly she called Charles Kennedy a "ginger tosser", but the exact words of her interruption are not recorded on Hansard. The Speaker refused to repeat what she said when asked and of course she was made to withdraw the remark!
