I'm putting my money on 0, unless Galloway can squeak out a win.

Obviously the question is zero or one given that Sparkbrook and Small Heath is being split up in Birmingham. I think one, unless Labour manages to substantially regain popularity; Poplar and Limehouse is by no means assured for Galloway, but I think he could win it.

It is entirely possible that Respect will not exist, at least not in its current form, by the time of the next General Election. It is currently in the middle (?) of a very nasty civil war (basically: Trots v Galloway + Islamists).

Btw, four of their councillers on Tower Hamlets LBC have left the Respect group and might (I say might as I don't follow this sort of thing much and don't know for sure) have been thrown out of the party. One of the four was Respect's candidate in Poplar & Canning Town in the last General Election.

Hopefully.

Answer is zero, and hasn't Galloway said he won't run again?

Galloway's not running again in Bethnal Green and Bow, but he is in Poplar and Canning Town.

One, at the very most.

Zero is the most likely, but I wouldn't rule out any of the options given.

I'd say one, zero is also likely. Over one is unlikely.
