P.S.  We'll do votes through polls right?

No, we have an elected Senate to vote on these things.

It has been a week since debating upon this Act commenced and the motion to extend debating has not reached the necessary support of five Senators.

I would now like to call a vote on the Act proposed by the honourable Sen. Hughento.

Please vote Yea or Nay.

Now this is a bill I needed a bit of consideration on.

I would like for the regions to decide on capital punishment really, just like the states do in real life which urges me to vote nay, but I am very ambivalent of allowing the death penalty to continue.

I hope to have reached a decision by the end of the day.

I have come to a decision, I vote nay on this act, I would like to leave this up to the regions, I also think there should be some exceptions, e.g. terrorism, treason.

With Michael Z's vote coming in the Death Penalty Abolition Act has passed the Senate by six votes to three. It now awaits the President's signature.
