Thats two days in a row (yesterday Cafferty's wonderful endorsement and Blitzer's interview with Ron) that Ron has been on the Situation Room. Friedman is a popular author and iconoclast, and for 30 years has had a popular band called Kinky Friedman and the Texas Jewboys. I like Friedman but the guy also endorsed Joe Lieberman for the Senate in 2006, who is basically the living, breathing anti-Paul. The guy is all over the place and seems to endorse people based on whether he likes them or not on a personal level.
