kemp/whitman: 278 EVs
gore/nunn: 260 EVs

the gore/nunn ticket is able to run on a more populist agenda than the previous clinton/gore tickets.   meanwhile kemp/whitman does better in suburbia and the northeast than previous gop tickets did.

A comfortable win for Gore and Nunn.  Gore is seen by the electorate as much better prepared for the Presidency than Kemp.  Nunn is a solid choice for VP, and is well liked and trusted.  Whitman fails to deliver New Jersey.
