I know myself too well.  I'd probably have sex with that woman.  And two or three dozen others.  This is one of many reasons the good Lord has kept me from acquiring anything resembling power.  I'm too old, fat and ugly for any woman to actually want me -- but if I were President, well -- that has its own appeal.

On a more serious note, I could say I would oppose NAFTA.  But that wouldn't be honest.  At the time, I supported NAFTA and was particularly swayed by the support of Presidents Ford, Carter and Bush 1. 

I am sure I would not have sold the poor up the river with so called "welfare reform".  I probably would have insisted that Bosnia, Kosovo and so forth were "Europe's problem". 

And as far as social and domestic matters go, I would have been much more aggressive in responding to the attacks of the far right. 

But I'd have made a terrible President!

Economy: First, i would have done the exact same economy plan, but i would have taxes on the upper class, and lower them for the middle and lower class. As for NAFTA, i would have modified it, or not passed it.

Foreign Policy: I would have done the same things Cinto did in real life, but i would have Gotten Osama while i had the chance.

Domestic: After the bombings in 1995, i would have has the FBI, and CIA in full alert, which might have helped in 1996.

1. Adopt Clinton's post-1996 economic policy before the midterms.
2. Adopt a more socially liberal platform as a trade-off: the Republicans get what they want on economics without killing freedom. For instance: all of the political capital I make on pushing welfare reform goes automatically into fighting DOMA.

Domestic: No 'anti terror act' of 96 (just better coordination), gun bans, continued war on drugs, etc. Federalism in general for social issues. There would be a crackdown on illegal immigration.

Economy: No NAFTA, No Tax Hikes, No 'Hillarycare,' No Deregulation (for big agra/telecoms/finance anyway). There would be steep cuts made in taxes, welfare, entitlements and departments (especially the Department of Education). I would start talking about monetary reform citing Kennedy...

Foreign Policy: Withdrawal from the Middle East, West Europe, etc. No intervention in the balkans or anything like that. The money saved would be used on a 'peace dividend.'

Other: Tell Al Gore to leave and run with another party, since obviously the DLC establishment would be furious.

I would "not have sexual relations with that woman". I would also not appoint Hillary to be in charge of healthcare. I would use the miliary more frequently and effeciently. I would not pressure Israel so much not to respond to terrorism. I would actively speak out against trickle-down economics while the economy was booming (to get people to stop believing in it), I would give the middle class a tax cut (while further raising taxes on the rich), and I would prepare Gore for the 2000 election since 1993 to make sure that there is 0% chance that Bush can beat him.
