Well, this again doesn't exactly boil down to HP or FF. He certainly seems like he was no HP, for sure, but he was no fighter as he used non-violence. Clearly though he was a martyr for his cause.

Not many people are well aware of the religious aspect of the saga of twentieth century Vietnam conflicts.  Certainly the American puppets were always the christianized ones.  I can happily report that very few Thais have fallen victim to that inferior religion, unlike Vietnamese or South Koreans (to the Viets credit they at least were catholics - have you seen what dumb things the Koreans get up to?).

Sorry, Earl, it has always just creeped me out less than protestantism, at least in the US.  Believe me, I dislike both.

Protestantism disgusts and creeps me out too. American protestantism ranks down there with Islam or scientology in my book.
