Suppose that Barack Obama gets the Democratic Party's nomination, and he runs against a Republican candidate you really don't care for. Could you vote for him? This was inspired by a poll I saw which had him in 3rd place among GOP voters.

No. I find some of his stances to be deal-breakers. Especially having a government health care plan pay for convenience abortions  -  which is both a moral outrage and a waste of taxpayer dollars. Unfortunately, most of the Dem candidates seem to support just that; I know Obama and Edwards do.

Could a Democrat gain my vote? Hypothetically, yes. However, such a candidate would have zero chance in the primary. Basically, it would have to be something like Bredesen vs. Janklow for me to actually vote for the 'D' without some reservations.

Probably not. His abortion and ANWR drilling views would turn me away.

Uh, no. I might not like care for potential nominees like Rudy and Romney but I'd have to vote for him over this clown.

I might vote for him depending on who the GOP puts up.
