Ann Clywd, Lab, Cynon Valley.

Now this is an MP I know something about. Major pro-Iraq activist and got elected chair of the PLP at one point.

What is a "pro-Iraq activist"? Someone who lobbies for giving the Iraqis what they want, ie no foreign troops, an autonomous Kurdistan, and a "special relationship" with Iran?

She's more pro-Kurdish than anything. Been a consistent feature of her politics for decades now.

By "pro-Iraq" I meant "pro-Iraq war". Made a speech in the Iraq debate of March 2003.

Ah, but that's something very very different. Tongue (Mind you, being 100% against the Iraq War is not the same thing as being "pro-Iraq" either...)

Also behind Indict.
The Kurds didn't want this war. Huh (It's not as if they minded it much, as long as certain conditions were met, which they have been. It's not as if they wanted Saddam alive and in power. Still.)
