How telling, he doesn't even address any of my points but instead goes and posts a non-sequitor.

It's not meant to be an insult, it just seems pretty obvious from your posting style. Not to mention that Straha was also a D-NY in reality...

He's a Muslim? I thought he was 13-year old Asian kid?

Is there anyone who fits this?  They might take the cake:

Poor
Minority
Homosexual
Extreme Views
Militant Atheist
Does not fit with state politics
Lives in an extremely rural area
Detached for the community

Interesting thread.

Anyway, as Eraserhead pointed out, it ain't me. I'm a devout Christian whose views are more moderate than my rhetoric. I could easily get elected in my congressional district, something most Atlasians couldn't do. And "Extreme Views" is the only one on DWTL's checklist where I fit.

The answer is actually Joe Republic. Simply because anyone else in a party could get elected in a hardcore partisan district.

Uh...hating other religions and denominations of Christianity makes you devout? Do you pray often (we know you don't attend mass/services)?

SPC?

Joe could easily win a local election.

Only Catholics go to mass. I do go to services, just not regularly.

I suppose it's all relative and that skews my perception. The strippers I get lapdances from are probably, on average, more religious than most of my friends.

If Jesse Ventura could be governor of a state, Gporter can at least win something small.  Also, I can't think of a place in America that you can get elected.
Well, I could probably easily be elected mayor of my town in the future, I'll almost certainly get the nomination at some point.  Posting on a forum for fun does not equal real life.  That's another important thing to consider when thinking who is the least electable person.
if your beliefs were to be made known on a scale the size of your prospective constituency, you wouldn't stand a chance.
I have to agree with DWTL on this point. In local elections, one's ideology is rarely the driving factor. Winning at that level is usually a combination of community contact, willingness to meet a wide variety of people, and perhaps a tie to a specific hot-button issue in the community. This is a frequent winning combination for school boards and municipal councils especially since they are often non-partisan elections.

Maybe he's baptist. Tongue

No, I'm Lutheran. Though I usually go to a non-denominational church.

Well, out here the winner seems to be whoever can put up the most yard signs.

I know we're the only ones that go to mass but I wanted to make it clear that I was talking about a type of worship. "Services" seemed to vague.
