Unpopular opinion: It's unfortunate the term "elitist" has been tainted exclusively negative. I think it's possible that some people are in a way jealous of not being part of the elite as well and just having ordinary lives. Of course they wouldn't admit it and just criticize others for being an "elitist". Of course Obama and Biden are part of the elite, and so is Trump. The difference is their policies. And Biden's are way more favorable to the average guy from Scranton, while Trump is mainly looking out for himself and his rich Mar-A-Lago buddies.
