Whether you support Biden or not, you have to admire his determination. I've always felt this for a while, but now it's more evident than ever.

You have a guy who has faced significant personal tragedies and health challenges throughout his life. He lost his first wife and daughter in a car accident and his son to brain cancer. He suffered two brain aneurisms which he almost died from. He ran for president twice and failed, and was famously accused of plagiarism. He has a noticeable speech impediment which has been mocked and exploited by millions in an attempt to portray him as a senile old man. They called him "sleepy" and mocked his crowd sizes, yet he was able to unseat a U.S. president by 7 million votes (an accomplishment 1/3 of Americans refuse to accept). Now he's running neck-and-neck with a convicted felon, his approval numbers are in the tank, and his son was just found guilty on three felony gun charges, but he continues to soldier on which a subdued confidence, almost as if he knows something the rest of us don't.

No other person in the world would be able to go through all of those challenges and still pursue the presidency as passionately as Biden does. He continues to push forward despite the adversities, and it's truly inspiring to witness. Whatever challenges you face in your life - keep fighting and never give up.

This is a political discussion, not a sports thread.

I followed Biden throughout Obama's presidency and never saw any 'stutter' until around 2019. Kinda weird that a lifelong speech impediment would suddenly become visible in one's late 70s. I mean, it's not like I know what I'm talking about and didn't do a year of speech therapy to correct a moderate speech impediment myself and yet it still comes out once in a while. Just odd how it went dormant from his childhood to his septuagenarian era.
