#1 for me as well, as I've never been put in a position in which I wanted to lose weight, so I'm not predisposed to it.

#2 would imply you had at one point weighed more than 110 pounds in the first place. Tongue

Depends on the situation honestly. For myself I'd have to say number one. But for someone who is hypothyroid the second one could be much harder if they are undiagnosed Tongue

I should say option 2 includes keeping the weight off in the long term.

I personally find it difficult to gain weight rather than lose it.

I ate Italian food, pasta, meat...all through the Summer of 2006. I was under extreme stress, and despite the large amount of carbs...I lost 21 lbs.

Option 2.  The first option is easy for me.

#1 is the toughest, hands down.

Losing weight is the easiest thing to do, I've done, and continuing to do so.

As for keeping a relationship working well, that's tough. Not only do you have to make things work for you, but you gotta make it work for someone else. When losing weight, it's just you, and nobody else.

Take it from someone who's lost 80 pounds: it's harder to find someone to love.

Of course, it's even harder still if you've got the extra 80 pounds.

That's really a hard one. It's hard having a girlfriend and all, but diets don't work for me. I'm already skinny enough as it is.

Obviously depends on the person. Which is higher the divorce rate or obesity rate?

I think it depends on whether one defines a happy relationship as screwing around with, or living out the rest of one's life with, someone.

both seem like do-able goals at this point for me.  I just have to have enough patience and discipline with myself.  I mean, I'm probably setting up a lot of vagueries.

Girls are a pain to even find around here in my parent's suburb.

Dieting is tough-I lost ten pounds in March and gained it all back.

New plan
1.lower sodium intake
2.don't eat cheese
3.don't drink soda

I figure if I break rules 2 and 3 once/week I should be fine.
