If they support it in a peaceful, free, fair, and widely participated-in election, then sure.

I don't know enough about the issue to care one way or another.

If approved by referendum in both Catalonia and in the remainder of Spain, then yes.

No, and it's pretty clear the Catalan people don't either.

Yes if I was talking to Castilian Franco nostalgists, no if I was talking to FYIGM-minded Puigdemont cultists.

No, in the sense that I think the current system is better.

Yes, in the sense that I support the right of self determination for a certain group of people/culture and that I don't think it's anyones business to judge over that or prevent that.

It's not an issue a single forum user here has a right to have an opinion on or should feel strongly about to be honest (except for Tack and Mimoha)

Unless all of you have an opinion on Bougainville going independent as well.

People of a non-native / foreign culture with zero ties of the situation judging over whether people of a certain culture have a right of self-determination feels a bit weird/iffy/maybe even edgy.

Nope. But I do feel that allowing a lawful, fair referendum would have been a better exit than the mess of the last decade. And in that sense, blocking any possibility of such ended up being counterproductive if you compare to Québec or Scotland.
