Which TV show has more plot holes: SpongeBob or Family Guy?

Both are great TV shows regardless.

Neither has any plot holes because they both operate within a sort of cartoon logic where any inconsistency can be written off by the rule of funny

Spongebob because sponges naturally have holes in them. Though I think they’re called “pores.” In which case plotholes should be called poreholes.

I remember when I was in high school and my brother was watching SpongeBob and it was an episode featuring SpongeBob or Patrick's parents and I pointed out "wait, sponges and starfish reproduce asexually,  they can't have parents!"

And my brother replied "well they also talk, they can't talk in real life."
