I personally think things would’ve been better off if the world recognized Egyptian control over the Gaza Strip/Jordanian control over the West Bank sometime between 1948 and 1967. It’s what the residents of those parts of Palestine wanted, and a lot of headache would’ve been spared.

If Israel normalizing relations with Egypt and Jordan weren't butterflied away, then definitely.
