Who was funnier: opebo or Hawkeye?

It perplexes me that there actually are people that think opebo is not funny and thought Hawkeye was funny.

Opebo's posts have a lot of great wit behind them. Hawkeye's posts: "LOLZ, I'M SAYING OFFENSIVE THINGS ABOUT JEWS!" Yeah, that's so funny.

The past tense in the title question says it all: Opebo might have been funny at some point in the past, but three years later, he sure as hell ain't now.  His routine is just a tired old cliché.

The fact that opebo has been saying the same thing for years is mostly what has contributed to everyone finding him unfunny and just annoying as all hell.  You could take the funniest comedian alive, but if every time you saw him he just did the same joke, it would kind of get old after a while.

Opebo is annoying and disgusting but he does make me laugh.

Both opebo and Hawkeye could be termed "funny" when they first appeared, but both characters had a rather short shelf life in my view.

So, in a certain sense, it's the Simpsons vs. Seinfeld (to simplify things - and neither is anywhere near as funny as those two were)?  The show that knew when to stop or the show that doesn't.

The reason I used past tense is because Hawkeye is dead, for lack of a better term, he's a retired fake account with a blown cover. I should probably say "he" instead of he.

opebo is occasionally witty but his material has lost its originality. He needs to have another complete transformation in ideology sometime before the 2008 election. Maybe he could become a scientologist or something? Dunno.

He went from a Republican to a Democrat overnight before the '04 election, so something like that would make sense.
