George Santos will surely become part of that.

I actually agree. I don't think we'll ever be rid of her.

I’m going to disagree on this and say her chances are being rated properly. Boebert seems to be facing a lot of problems that sunk Madison Cawthorn, and half of this district is highly educated Douglas County, where candidates like her are are popular as cyanide.

Maybe she’ll sneak though a divided primary field if she’s lucky but unless she is able to win her primary decisively she’s probably F’d in 2026.

Yeah if she and Cawthorn were generic Rs they would do fine, but they're not. Even if she wins in 2024, she'll probably lose in 2026, especially if it's a Trump midterm.

One other underrated disadvantage for Boebert is that, unlike in CO-03 and CO-05 where Ron Hanks and Dave Williams are the only major Trumpist candidates on the ballot, Boebert has other candidates like Deb Flora and Richard Holtorf splitting the MAGA vote. Meanwhile with Ted Harvey out of the race, Jerry Sonnenberg seems to be the only major “establishment” candidate left.

And the 2022 primaries broke 55 to 45 for the establishment candidates in this district whereas the MAGA candidates came very close in the 5th and outright won the 3rd.
