Physically been inside a church? I want to say around late 2022 when I was traveling to Paris and went inside Sacre Coeur. Last time I attended a service? 2013 - and it was a Catholic funeral, not Sunday mass.

January 2021 during a memorial service for an Airman who committed suicide.

But that will change in a few days when I visit La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.

Yesterday, I dropped off a vial of rancid "consecration" olive oil at my old Mormon Church.

The last service I attended was Christmas, and that's the only one I'm going to, once Dad retires from that gig, I'm not sure I'll even go there anymore.

In 2018, when I went to my friend's wedding at a Brethren church in western PA. I've been past churches but not in any churches since then that I recall.

Depends on if you consider a Unitarian Church a church. If you don't, it was probably before the pandemic.

Christmas 2022.

In New Jersey.

Not by choice. First time since a funeral in 2013. The complete disconnect I had with the service was actually pretty nice.

Maybe 7 years ago? I tried to rediscover Jesus around 2016 into early 2017, but it just re-enforced my beliefs about organized religion and anti-intellectualism.

Other than tourism, not since COVID. And very happy about it.

It's been. A while. I wish I could get back into it but current living circumstances make that difficult.

Some Sunday service I went to with my Nana at 13. Back in my childhood I actually like going to church with her, always enjoy being in company with other people and singing along to ryhms in a language that I did not understand a word of. Never was a frequent churchgoer beyond the visits or occasional services as my paternal grandfather funeral.

My grandmother's funeral in 2021 kind of counts as it was held outside a Church. I think the lingering COVID fears meant that it wasn't held inside.

'Properly', though, it might be as far back as 2007 for my uncle's wedding. That was also the time when my other grandmother moved into a nursing home and the point at which we stopped going to her Church when we visited her (and my grandfather when he was still alive).

It feels as if I've been in a Church much more recently, probably because I walk past at least two churches at least twice a week, including one that I used to attend Boy's Brigade at as a youngster.

As a tourist, summer of 2022.

As a wedding guest, spring 2017.

As an actual congregant?  Uh… early 90s?

Yesterday.
I wish I could say in a regular but I’m not at this point. I do need to mend my faith eventually and get better.
