Feel free to add any songs from that year (or around that time) that you love or want to share.

In 2010, I was nine years old, and yet seeing this thread must have made me age another fifteen years. May answer this question at a later time.

While I can't say I revisit any of the pop songs listed above, one of my very favorite albums, Ryan Star's 11:59, was released in 2010. Linkin Park's A Thousand Suns was solid as well.

Teenage Dream or Fireflies. I like Teenage Dream more as a song, but I really identified with Fireflies when it first came out. "It's hard to say I'd rather be awake when I'm asleep/because everything is never as it seems (when I fall asleep)".

I was in the mental health inpatient unit for a couple months in 2010, you have definitely missed at least three of the biggest of 2010, and I don't think me being in Canada changes this.

1.Love the Way You Lie, Eminem with Rihanna and Not Afraid, Eminem
2.Aiplanes, B.o.B with Hayley Williams (my favorite song of 2010)

Also,
1.California Gurls by Katy Perry was a bigger hit than Teenage Dream

Finally, you also left off from when I was not in the psych ward that year
1.Tighten Up by the Black Keys.

I don't like any of them, though they do kind of make me nostalgic for high school.

Actually, I might hate "Fireflies" the most of these. I can't stand that guy's voice.

Bad Romance was a guilty pleasure. That song is a jam more than any of these other songs.

Bad Romance is an excellent pop song. Need You Now is decent modern country. The rest is crap.

This music was popular when I was a teenager and at the time I depise it. Now my feelings are more muted, as even while most of the tunes are not my cup of tea they are superior to the trend in popular music in the last five years.

Very tough call - 2010 was sophomore/junior year of high school for me, so I was very much "with it" before they changed what "it" was and what I'm with became no longer "it."

I'm gonna go with "Tik Tok," since it's had the most personal staying power in my life, but I also have really good memories associated with "Need You Now" and "Teenage Dream."

the only song on this list I recognize by name is Bad Romance.  I'm sure I'd recognize a few more of the songs, possibly even all of them.  It's awesome how easy it is to avoid "pop" music these days.

I actually voted for Kesha believe it or not, because I have actually enjoyed that song when I'm drunk, but only then. And we're talking REALLY drunk.
