Think about it. You have a centrist incumbent trying to hold together a fragile coalition, and a right-wing opposition led by the vengeful former leader trying to dodge his criminal trials.

Nothings a perfect compression but France 2022 could be an apt comparison. Unpopular yet moderate incumbent wins by a narrower margin in a rematch against far right opponent with voters coming home to him when actually presented with the option.

It’s easy to see where the EV is narrower because Trump flips a state or two, but Biden wins the tipping point state by more.
