He hasn’t officially signed, but apparently he’s got the offer.

Not my first choice but then again Daniel Craig was nobody's first choice.
He was hilarious in "Bullet Train".

I thought she was great in The Queen's Gambit and The Menu.

Odd choice. The only thing I liked him in was 'Nocturnal Animals' where he played an unapologetic, deranged monster.

He's going to Kick-Ass in that role.

Not really. He is English, handsome, thirty-something, and a good actor.
On paper he is as good as any of the other choices (Cavill, Hiddleston, Egerton, Golding, etc.).

Probably cheaper to hire too.

Not to mention Cavill's got his Warhammer 40K series in development and just signed on for an MCU role.

I'll give him a chance, but I personally don't find him all that handsome.

After Johnson met filmmaker Sam Taylor-Wood in 2009 on the set of their film Nowhere Boy, when he was 18 and she was 42,[30] the two began dating and were married in the chapel at Babington House on 21 June 2012.[31] They subsequently changed their surnames to Taylor-Johnson.[32] They have two daughters, and he is a stepfather to her two daughters from a previous marriage.

I always thought Idris Elba would have made the most obvious Bond post-Craig, and would have been an excellent choice.
