Maybe he'd be really into weird Japanese Shoegaze, and a Moonie who refuses to enter prefectures that didn't vote for Abe. I don't know much anime so the only one I can think of with Family Guy-like humour is Panty and Stocking, but I think the whole point of that show was to be a take on western cartoons which kind of defeats the purpose.
